Vodacom Tanzania Plc and Stanbic Bank Tanzania officials paid a courtesy visit to Dodoma Regional Commissioner Ms. Rosemary Senyamule (centre) ahead of the arrival of the Twende Butiama Cycling Tour in Dodoma on Tuesday last week. As part of the initiative, Vodacom and Stanbic donated 100 desks and planted 1000 trees at Dodoma Makulu Primary School. Moreover, 2000 additional trees will be planted in open areas in the city. Stanbic Bank Tanzania and Vodacom Tanzania Plc officials pose for a group photo with teachers and students of Dodoma Makulu Primary School after the completion of a financial literacy training conducted by the bank. The training is part of CSR activities associated with the Vodacom Twende Butiama Cycling Tour 2024 that will cover 12 regions for a period of two weeks. The school was also a recipient of 100 desks to support learning environments and 1000 trees to combat climate change donated by the two organizations.
