United States Ambassador to Tanzania Alfonso E. Lenhardt swore in 41 new Peace Corps Volunteers in a brief ceremony held at the U.S. Embassy in Dar es Salaam. The new volunteers will work in Tanzania for two years in areas of health promotion and environment education and will be stationed in 38 villages and Zonal Health Resource Centers in Masasi, Newala, Mbinga, Songea Rural, Songea Urban, Ludewa, Makete, Njombe, Mufindi, Iringa Rural, Kilolo, Mbeya Rural, Morogoro Urban, Dodoma Urban, Chamwino, Kondoa, Singida Rural, Hanang, Kiteto, Same, Mwanga, Lushoto and Muheza Districts.
