President Uhuru Kenyatta finally sacked his interior cabinet secretary Joseph Ole Lenku, after 36 more Kenyans were butchered by Al-Shabaab in Mandera. In Lenku’s place the president has nominated retired army general Joseph Nkaissery who is also the MP for Kajiado Central. Uhuru made the annoucement as inspector general of police David Kimaiyo resigned citing what he called personal reasons.
