Membership to the hub presents you an opportunity to join the Global Shapers Community and exchange wonderful opportunities for driving the global development agenda.
The Global Shapers Community is a network of Hubs developed and led by young people who are exceptional in their potential, their achievement and their drive to make a contribution to their communities. Through the Global Shapers Community, Shapers are provided with opportunities to connect with the worldwide network of Global Shapers, to network with other World Economic Forum communities, and to represent the voice of youth at World Economic Forum events. Shapers are united by a common desire to channel the members’ tremendous energy and enthusiasm into building a more peaceful and inclusive world.
What does it take to become a global shaper?
· A proven experience and track record of change making and service to community through business enterprise, civil society, public service, media or the arts.
· A demonstrable record of leading a cause, campaign, institution or initiative in Tanzania or beyond
· Strong and proven commitment to improving the state of the world
· Must be a resident of Dar Es Salaam
· Must be aged between 20-29 as December 2014
