Dar es Salaam May 4 2014, Airtel Tanzania end of this week has officially unveiled its refurbished shop located at the Mlimani City in Dar es Salaam. The unveil stamps the company’s promise of offering services, products and mobile phone solutions to customers.
“The growth of Airtel in Tanzania has pushed us to ensure we maintain top notch service and one way is through the revamp of our express shops,” explains Christophe Soulet, CEO Airtel Africa. “We believe in provision of world class services and continual roll out of innovative products that suit customer and we know quality customer experience will drive up more growth. Today I am pleased to open our upgraded customer care shop also known as the express shop here in Tanzania. Opening of this modern shop demonstrates our commitment to offer superior quality service in Tanzania and Africa as a whole.”
“The store is the first unveil of an ongoing exercise to make all our shops have a customer friendly look and feel. The shop is designed to ensure that customers can access services at their convenience and get served as quickly as possible with complete comfort and privacy,” said Sunil Colaso, Airtel Tanzania Managing Director.
He further stated that, “ Airtel would like to assure our customers that they will experience excellence in service and a wide range of communication products including handsets and other devices at the Milimani City Shop.”
Airtel seeks to leverage on their strong network to reinforce their commitment to customers on provision of the most innovative, reliable and quality service in the Dar es Salaam region.
The Milimani city shop will continue to provide a range of products such as modems and a variety of handsets. Customers will also get an upgrade to the Airtel Money services, pre and post-paid services including bills payment, Airtel data and airtime purchases.
As part of service and delivery expansion, Airtel Tanzania has an extensive plan on improving customer care. This will be visibly seen through the roll out of other refurbished shops across the country within 2014. This roll out is aimed at accomplishing competitive customer experience and provide communication solutions. This extensive project will cover the revamp of Express Stores in both rural and urban areas.
