The world most famous and travelled beer Heineken, hosted the biggest football viewing party to herald the final of the UEFA Champions League matches between Real Madrid and Atletico in Milano and Dar es Salaam.

Hundreds of football fans and consumers arrived in plenty at various premium outlets already to partake in once in a lifetime experience.
Heineken also hosted ‘the Heineken Ibiza Final’ which is held on the weekend of the UEFA Champions League Final and the beginning of the party season in Ibiza – the world’s ultimate Party Island.

Selected consumers who partake in various promotions were selected to be a part of the event which was also localised for the Tanzanian audience. The lucky fans from around the world had the opportunity of attending the screening party of the Champions League Finals and thereafter party with football stars, celebrities and renowned DJs.
While the party is going on in Ibiza & Milano, football fans across Tanzania were not left out as Heineken TZ also hosted a special Champions League parties for consumers at George n Dragon, Samaki Samaki outlets and Club 777 to #ChampionTheMatch. Fans were treated to a VIP experience and the premium ambience of various outlets.

The UEFA Champions League is the most prestigious club league; the premier sporting event has become a global phenomenon that fits perfectly with the Heineken brand, which is enjoyed in almost every country in the world. The Dutch brewer is a keen sponsor of global sports tournaments and unlike other industry players steers clear from sponsoring specific teams.
