Management of Zantel Tanzania has today visited Tanzania Albino Society offices to appreciate more about the operations of the organization and to enhance the relationship between the two organisations.

This visit is subsequent to Zantel’s earlier contribution to the Society, where Zantel had committed to collaborate with Tanzania Albino Society to educate the public on matters pertaining to albinism through sending bulk SMS and using media programs.

Speaking during the visit, Arnold P. Madale from Zantel Brand and Communications, commended TAS’s efforts in helping to protect Albinos from abuse and to educate people on understanding Albinism in Tanzania.

Mr. Madale, further added that Zantel is looking forward to work with TAS in various areas aiming to spread the awareness on albinism to the public.

“We are happy to support TAS in their mission to ensure Albinos live a normal life in Tanzania,” Madale said, “and we look forward to a society where no albino will live with no fear of being killed’’.

During the visit, Zantel also provided free wireless Internet for one year and a landline telephone with free calling airtime for one year.

‘We have come here today to understand how the Albino Society operates, and to see how best we can work together to support the Society’s vision’ said Madale.

On his side, Chairman of the Albino Society, Ernest Kimaya thanked Zantel for the visit and their commitment to support the Society.

‘There are very few organizations such as Zantel which can stretch and support us like they have done, we are very thankful and we are entreating other companies to come through and support this critical cause ’ said Kimaya.
