Ndovu Special Malt held another inspiring edition of the Ndovu Spotlight Studio at the JB Belmont Hotel last night on the 21 August 2014. The Spotlighters on the panel featured Evans Bukuku – Comedian, Radio personality from Vuvuzela Entertainment; Mercy Kitomari – founder of Newlas Gelato; and Andru Mahiga – Creative and MD of Maanisha. The fully packed audience had a chance to interact with the Spotlighters who shared their experiences on the way to achieving their dreams.
Ndovu Special Malt (NSM) started the Spotlight concept as a way to recognise and celebrate young Tanzanians. Especially ones with inspiring stories that inform and encourage Tanzanian’s to chase their dreams by unpacking the Spotlighters’ achievements, goals and on-going journey.
The stories are about how having confidence helped these inspiring individuals make great strides in their careers. NSM is a brand that had the confidence to stand and win against international brands. Over the last four years the premium beer has been consistently awarded Gold and Grand Gold by the Monde Selection Committee in Geneva for brewing excellence.
Through multiple wins of the Gold award, Ndovu showed that Tanzanian excellence is world class. Just like Ndovu Special Malt the Spotlighters are Tanzanians who have the potential for international recognition.
