AID Kenya Foundation is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to mobilize voluntary humanitarian aid and development assistance to orphaned and vulnerable children, teenage mothers and disenfranchised populations in rural-urban Kenya.

On humanitarian grounds, we have launched a year-round Lishe Bora Kwa Watoto Feeding Program. The feeding program is being first piloted at Kitui Village Slums, Nairobi where we targeting to feed, 385 school-going children, breast-feeding teenage mothers and 25 households, infected with HIV/AIDS. It will cost KES. 85 (USD. 1) per child per day to have a balanced diet, that most children have missed since they were born into poverty in the slums. Combined we are targeting to feed over 5000 orphaned and vulnerable children and HIV/AID infected breast-feeding teenage mothers, over a period of 12 months.

The program is aimed at increasing school enrollment, improved academic performance, and reducing child mortality rates. Over the next 100 days, we will expand the program to Ole Maa Maasai Village, Embakasi; New Canaan/Pipeline IDP Camp, Nakuru; Mithahato Village, Kiambu; Likoni, Mombasa, Mokogodo Village, Laikipia, and Makueni. We count on your support.
