Godfrey Levis (born March 23, 1993), also known by his stage names
‘ICON’, is a Tanzanian rapper, singer, dance teacher, actor, song writer
and entrepreneur. He is very talented young boy for making wonders
worldwide.
Godfrey Levis was born in Dodoma and grew up in Dodoma later on his parents shifted to Dar es Salaam. He officially doing his music under the umbrella of ICON MUSIC includes Amsha Tanzania a youth NGO as community volunteering ambassador.
Apart from doing music he is forefront doing community works with his mates under their NGO to several activities which arranged by themselves.
Early life
Godfrey Levis was born in a public hospital in Dodoma town, Tanzania, the son of Levis Kato, an entrepreneur, and Caroline Martin a retired nurse. He grew up in Kinondoni, Dar es Salaam.
Godfrey Levis completed his secondary school in 2006; he was among the best
football player in his school.He also doubled as discipline
prefect.
Godfrey Levis is given nickname, so being called ICON ilikuwa toka HOOD since his manager was
truly amazed by his talent.........
